At a temple in Hpa-An, a little girl came to us holding her cat, and asked if we would take their portrait together. When we turned the camera around to show her the photo, her face lit up with pure delight. Moments like these stayed with us all through Myanmar — a country whose people met us, again and again, with such openness and warmth.
