• Full Lightroom — transform your photos from good to stunning: Who it’s for: anyone who wants to get the most out of their photos. Level: complete beginners through to those wanting advanced techniques. From opening the software for the first time to editing with confidence — organising thousands of photos, importing and cataloguing, exposure and colour, local adjustments and masking, retouching, building your own presets, and exporting for print, web, and social.
• Photography fundamentals — get off auto mode and take control: Who it’s for: anyone who owns a camera and wants to use it properly. Level: complete beginners welcome. We cover your camera’s buttons, menus, and settings, the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), composition that makes images compelling, working with natural light, an introduction to flash, and finding your own style.
• Landscape photography — capture Devon’s scenery like a professional: Who it’s for: photographers wanting to specialise in outdoor and nature shots. Level: some photography knowledge helpful but not essential. Living in Devon, we’re surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country — this course teaches you to capture that beauty with real impact. Planning shoots, reading weather and light, composition for landscapes, long exposure, working with ND, polarising, and graduated filters, and post-processing. Includes outdoor practical work.
• Website build — create your own site and know how to maintain it: Who it’s for: small business owners, creatives, anyone wanting their own website. Level: no experience needed. This isn’t about building a site for you — it’s about teaching you to build it yourself. Planning structure and content, choosing the right platform (Wix, WordPress, or others), design principles that actually work, adding and editing content, basic SEO, and publishing. We work until your site is live, and you leave able to update it without calling someone every time.
