Jaisalmer Gypsy Woman

We met two women on the streets of Jaisalmer and stopped to sit and rest with them a while. They were Gypsy women — treated as outsiders in their own town — and they told us about their lives and their hardships as we shared ours. They seemed so grateful that we'd simply taken the time to be with them. A small, heartwarming moment between strangers — two lives meeting two others — that has stayed with us ever since.
