Indian Woman
We met this lady and her family at a temple in Jaisalmer. They took photographs of us holding their children, and we talked in broken Hindi and English — explaining why we were there, exchanging greetings of luck and good tidings. I loved how she was dressed; the saris, and the Indian women who wear them, are so beautiful. As I took this photograph, her husband looked at the back of my camera, gave me a thumbs up, and announced in broken English that its title was "Indian Woman" — which made me laugh. The people of India are like no other. This image, "Indian Woman", was captured at a temple in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India. Made by us in our gallery. Each print is hand-finished on archival materials chosen to last.
