Forever Young

We met him on the path, on our way to a lake and the temple beyond it. He took my hand and we talked as best we could, and he told me — with a grin — that he was "ninety-five years young." Not old. Young. It has stayed with me ever since: a man who carried his years so lightly, young at heart, glad to stand a while with two strangers on the road.
