Our Paper Choices
Giclée editions are printed from high-resolution digital images, using the finest quality archival ink and archival paper stock available.
We love the archival fine art papers from Hahnemühle. Each paper has different textures and colour tones. The result is colour saturation, tonal range and image detail that exceeds other types of image reproduction.
What is a Giclée Print?
A Giclée print is an inkjet print. The word Giclée (pronounced ‘zhee-KLAY’ ), comes from a French verb meaning “to squirt or spray”. Giclée is an advanced printmaking process for creating high-quality fine art reproductions. The Giclée method of image reproduction offers vivid colours and adds a dramatic sense of depth to the images.
Our images are printed by Kirsty at the gallery and she goes over each image personally before it goes down to the workshop.
We have divided our images into 5 group sizes. Small, Medium, Large, X-Large & XX-Large.
Approximate sizes (sizes vary slightly due to camera ratios)
